Converting Clinical Notes from TM2/TM3 Touch

In TM3 there are two types of cases.  They are Legacy Cases and TM3 Web Cases.  Legacy Cases are cases that have been created in TM2/TM3 Touch.  Since these cases were not created on TM3 Web they cannot be viewed in TM3 Web.  You will need to convert a Legacy Case from TM2/TM3 Touch to a TM3 Web Case.

Cases that have been created in TM2/TM3 Touch will appear on TM3 Web.  They will have a grey L icon beside the status of the case.  This means it has been created in TM2/TM3 Touch and has not been converted to a TM3 Web Case.

When you try to open a Legacy Case this message will appear.  From here you can either convert the case to a TM3 Web Case or continue use it in TM3 Desktop.

The two images below show the admission and consultation sections of a Legacy Case.

When this case is converted to a TM3 Web Case the same information will be available in the case but it will be displayed on TM3 Web only.  They will have a green L icon beside the status of the case.  This means it has been created in TM2/TM3 Touch and has been converted to a TM3 Web Case.

The two images below show the admission and consultation sections of a case that has been converted from a Legacy Case to a TM3 Web Case.

Once the Legacy Case has been converted you will not be able to access it in TM3 Desktop.  You can still see the case in the case search list.  It will have lines through the text which tells you it cannot be opened.

If you do try to open a converted case the message below will appear.
