To access the Clinical Dashboard click the clinical icon on the menu bar on the left hand side of the screen.
A section with all your clinical cases will then appear, these will include cases with different status'. To search for a particular person you can simply type their name in the search function and then press enter or press the magnifying glass.
When you click the Advanced Search option a menu will appear where you can specify your search terms. You can search by body site, status and different date ranges.
Clicking on the column headers will allow you to sort by the column titles. When there is more than one column header you will be granted by an option on what to sort on. The search on patients will be alphabetical order of the surname. It will search in ascending order (A-Z) as standard but if you search again it will go by descending order (Z-A). All searches work the same way apart from the date which will go from most recent to the latest date.
You can access cases from this area. This can be done by either double clicking on the case or clicking the view option on the right hand side.
There are different status' a case can take. These are Awaiting First Appointment, In Treatment, On Hold, Discharged and Incomplete. Cases can also be in a Locked/Unlocked state.
A case will be in this state if it is not linked to an appointment within TM3.
A case will be in this state when a patient is currently receiving treatment within your clinic.
A case will be in this state if the patient is currently out of treatment in your clinic but will be returning. A situation where someone is on hold could be they are going back to their insurance company to get more treatment authorisations.
A case will be in this state when it has been discharged. This will also show what date it was discharged on. Once a case has been discharged the status cannot change.

A case has been discharged but it has not been locked
How to search for cases including advanced search, sorting by titles, view case from tehis screen, what the status' mean
When a case has been locked there will be a padlock beside the status. This means you can view the case but no further changes can be made.
When a case has the icon above beside it, this means the case has been created in TM3 Desktop and has not yet been converted to a TM3 Web case.
When a case has the icon above beside it, this means the case has been created in TM3 Desktop and has been converted to a TM3 Web case. When a case has been converted to a web case it can no longer be accessed in TM3 Desktop.
